Dog aggression?

I do not have a dog yet. I am looking in to adopting one. I found one, they said he is good with other dogs, but when i went to visit him, he was almost vicious to other dogs. I know living in a shelter, caged all the time can be stressful on a dog, and i hope this is the reason he was acting so aggressive toward the other dogs. As he was still in the cage as the other dogs were passing by. But other that this problem he is perfect, he is soo sweet, and loves people! I am thinking about adopting this dog, i do not have any other dogs, but i would like to be able to take my dog to the park with me without worrying he will attack another dog. Have you ever had a dog who was dog aggressive? Or do you know if there is a way to help him with is dog aggression?

How do you stop a dog from digging holes in the backyard?

How do you stop a dog from digging in the yard? My dog digs a hole to get under the fence to escape the backyard. I do not own this house and the guy is trying to sell it. He will not be happy if he sees holes by the fence. I have blocked the area with rocks, but he just moves over and starts digging. We have tried punishing him, but he just doesn’t get it. HELP or I will have to give him away and that is a TOTALLY last resort.
Serious solutions, not feedbacks from idiots who have no life.

Does anyone in the Chicago land area (near west suburbs) know of any good dog training classes?

I am looking to take my puppy to a puppy kindergarten class. She’s a beagle that is only 2 months. Does anyone know of any good dog training classes/puppy kindergartens in the near west suburbs of Chicago, such as Oakbrook, Hillside, Lombard, Elmhurst etc. I want a good solid training for her. Here are a few places I found but I can’t find any reviews on them… Has anyone attended any of the following classes? Did you like them? Or do you know of any other good place I could go?

Im am researching into different dog breeds to buy. Chow Chow, dalmation, doberman, boxer. I have already looked into these breeds, but I just want as much info as I can get before buying one. So if anyone had any personal experiences that would be great. I know most of these breeds needs lots of exercise, socialization, and training, and I have the monet/space/time. Im willing to do whatever it takes. Thanks
